The soundbar is distinguished by its depth - it is approximately 3-4 cm deeper than typical solutions, which is explained by the number of drivers used in it. There are as many as 9 audio channels hidden here, some of which have a two-way design. We're very surprised that the manufacturer managed to cram so many drivers into such a neat design!

Ceiling ducts are formed by speakers that bounce off the ceiling. Two of them can be found at the extreme ends of the top surface of the beam. Due to their presence, the beam cannot be “hidden” in a TV stand - the sound panel must have “visual” contact with the ceiling (and, preferably, the ceiling should be smooth and of the correct shape).

There is also a panel on top with (very convenient) physical buttons and a display (displaying up to 3 characters at a time). And this is the only thing we clearly didn’t like about this model - the location of the display makes it useless 90% of the time, and you have to use the equipment “by touch” (or through an application / TV). Just sitting on the couch or even crossing the living room, you usually can't see what's on it.

Apparently, the Samsung Q950A has so many speakers on the front panel that there was no room for the digital display, and it went to the top of the device...

You can see three dots that light up on the front of the case when we control the device - by the order in which they are turned on you can tell whether we are increasing the volume or decreasing it, and usually we receive confirmation of the command.

On the back side of the beam we will not find anything (it can, if desired, be pressed against the wall), but under it we will find enough connectors for a soundbar. We have two signal inputs in the HDMI 2.1 standard (formerly 2.0) and one TV output with support for eARC (and regular ARC). Older high-end equipment can also be connected using an optical connector (Toslink).

The design is designed in such a way that the cables can be conveniently routed from under the beam into a channel in the wall or directly behind the cabinet through a suitable pipe. The issue with the power cable was resolved in a similar way.

One could complain about the lack of USB or analog inputs, but maybe their era has already passed?
