Even the modest-looking Stage3 627 has good bass - it’s clear that only its upper section, but very clear and impeccably articulated. The sound is bright, assertive, and the angular characteristics are clearly optimized for installation in the front of the door.

The mighty Stage3 9637 “gives a hundred points ahead” in bass. The bass is clear, well articulated, without buzzing overtones - despite the “free air” quality factor. Fast bass passages are reproduced in full detail. The tonal balance is excellent, and the reproduction of the entire low-frequency range is much more confident. The high-frequency range is highlighted, the output of this section is optimized for working conditions on the rear shelf.

The sound character of the Stage3 607C at low and mid frequencies approximately corresponds to the Stage3 627. At high frequencies the sound is softer, the result largely depends on the relative position of the drivers and the signal level. At large angles of rotation of the tweeter, there is less “air”, but the informative range, including brushes and plates, is transmitted almost without loss. However, maximum attention should be paid to the orientation of the tweeter during installation.
