Hi all! This morning I received another very interesting letter. There was a question about a bluetooth transmitter for headphones. And I even thought a little, but later I began to collect information in order to write this article in more or less detail. As it turns out, this thing comes in two forms. The first is a special transmitter that is installed next to the TV or other device. The second one is portable and serves to revive old, but high-quality headphones with 3.5 mm outputs.
For headphones
Not everyone likes new-fangled wireless headphones, and some still use regular ears. I am like that myself, and at home I have excellent and high-quality headphones, which I once bought for a fairly round sum. Oddly enough, even they can be turned into wireless ones. For this, there are separate Bluetooth modules that operate on battery power and are small in size.
There is an inexpensive Bluetooth transmitter on the market from a company called Syllable. The size is slightly larger than a 10 ruble coin and can fit in almost any pocket. Such boxes operate only on battery power. But in theory they can also be connected to a TV. There are quite a lot of them on the market; there is no point in talking about each one, since they are almost all the same.
How to choose the right one
If you are buying it for the TV and definitely won’t be carrying it with you, then it is best to take it without a battery. Because even when connected to a USB port, the device itself will run on battery power, but will be gradually charged from the input on the TV. I also advise you not to buy Bluetooth versions less than 4. Some will now say that they should be compatible and work stably.
But as it turned out, our regular readers began to actively complain specifically about devices with the “Blue Tooth of the old version.” You definitely need to make sure that there is support for these standards: A2DP – stable audio transmission. It would also be nice to support EDR, which improves sound transmission using radio waves. aptX - also software improves the sound, and in particular the low and high frequencies, so that the music will be even better.
I advise you to additionally read my large and detailed review of wireless headphones with Bluetooth - here. There are 21 models provided and each one is described in detail. There are also basic tips for choosing and at the end it tells you how to quickly connect them.
REQUEST! Dear readers, if you have already had your eye on or purchased something, then write about your model in the comments below and share your review with other readers. It will be useful for us to know about the good and not so good models that are on the market.
